The story of the song began in May 2018, when the opening bass guitar riff was composed. Writing and recording the track was no easy task, and it took Anton over a year to finish it, which was a personal record at the time. This was largely due to the challenge of maintaining a balance between progressive elements and melodic simplicity without falling into cliché, which required testing numerous options for the song’s compositional direction. By the end of 2019, the song was ready, though the final recording wasn’t completed until May 2020. Around that time, the live lineup attempted to rehearse the track. However, because the other members struggled to play it in its original form and Anton Ra refused to alter the arrangement, he decided to release the song on his own without the help of the rest of the band. The video was filmed at their then-rehearsal studio, featuring guitarist Sven, who stepped in as the drummer for the shoot. Conceptually, the video is a chaotic riot of color blended with original visuals of the musicians. In April 2021, the song was officially released.
Four years later, the updated version of the song underwent several changes: the vocals, bass, and keyboards took over some of the guitar melodies to slightly shift the balance of instruments and add fresh colors to the overall sonic palette.
